　「足跡」
ある夜、わたしは 夢をみた。
わたしは、主（神さまの子）とともに なぎさを歩いていた。
暗い夜空に、これまでの わたしの人生が 映し出された。
どの風景にも、砂の上に ふたりの あしあとが残されていた。
一つは わたしの あしあと、もう一つは 主の あしあとであった。
これまでの人生の最後の光景が映し出されたとき、
わたしは、砂の上の あしあとに目を留めた。
そこには 一つの あしあとしかなかった。

わたしの人生で いちばんつらく、悲しい時だった。
このことが いつもわたしの心を乱していたので、
わたしは その悩みについて主にお尋ねした。

「主よ。わたしが あなたに従うと決心したとき、
あなたは、すべての道において、わたしとともに歩み、
わたしと語り合ってくださると約束されました。
それなのに、わたしの人生のいちばんつらい時、
ひとりの あしあとしかなかったのです。
いちばん あなたを必要としたときに、
あなたが、なぜ、わたしを捨てられたのか、
わたしには わかりません。」

主は、ささやかれた。
「わたしの大切な子よ。
わたしは、あなたを愛している。 あなたを決して捨てたりはしない。
ましてや、苦しみや試みの時に。
わたしは あなたを背負って歩いていた。」

　Footprints
One night I dreamed a dream.
I was walking along the beach with my Load.
Across the dark sky flashed the scene from my life.
For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, one belonging to me and one to my Load.
When the last scene of my life shot before me
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
There was only one set of footprints.

I realized that this was the lowest and the saddest times of my life.
This was always bothered me and I questioned the Load, about my dilemma.

Load, you told me when I decided to follow You, You would walk and talk me all the way.
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome times of my life there is only one set of footprints.
I just don't understand why, when I need You most, You leave me

He whispered " My precious child, I love you all and will never leave you never, during your trials and testings.
When you saw only one set of footprints it was then that I carried you"
